![]() ![]() I cannot remotely connect to these machines using my Microsoft account email and password. All of these machines have a path of C:\Users\. I have multiple machines which I logged into Windows using my Microsoft account email address during the Windows setup process (no local user created during setup). ![]() The path for this user is C:\Users\daniel. This machine has NLA enabled, and I can log into this machine remotely from multiple machines using only my Microsoft account email address and password. I have one machine that I created a local account, then logged into my Microsoft account. One thing I have tried and works, and a few others that do not work. I do not have an answer, but I have some input on this issue. How can i debug the issue? Anyone got ideeas how to continue? I checked the hostnames are correct, with ip connection it is the same outcome, on the microsoft website i can log in with the credential, the account is whitelisted on both of the computers on one of them i inserted also manually, i tried to generate also app password ont he microsofts account website, the computers are not joined in any doman, i can't figure out what can be the issue. When i try to connect from one of the notebook to the other, even if i am using the same username and password (microsoft account) it gives me an errror that the credentials did not work. I was not able to find the answer for the following scenario, i have 2 notebooks at home both of them runnign windows 10 pro, both of them are used with the same microsoft account (msn account) i am using windows hello (pin method) to login quickly on them, i wanted to use remote desktop to connect from one notebook to the other, i enabled remote Desktop on both of them, i checked also in the windows firewall app and the remote desktop app allowed.
