This is where a FileMaker user like me starts to see the limitations of AirTable. With a template selected, you can start entering data and modifying the template. It's hard to imagine very many people starting an AirTable solution completely from scratch with such a larger number of templates available. The FileMaker platform license for this client runs $75 per month and they are paying about $50 per month for hosting for a total of about $125 per month. Their database is currently at 1.3gb, but over the 5,000 record limit of the $10 Airtable level, so they would spend $100 per month for Airtable. I picked one of our clients somewhat at random, a small company with 5 FileMaker users. Comparing the cost directly to FileMaker is tricky, since so much depends on the number of users, size of the database, and the hosting. ![]()
